NOTICE: Rev. Janet is away for the week of July 25th, until August 2nd, please call the office with your inquiries and the Wardens will get back to you. If it is a pastoral emergency, please call Brad Tremere 902-624-8738, the senior warden and he will contact a priest for you. Also, the Parish Office will be closed this week as well. Phone and email messages will be checked regularly. Office re-opens Tues. 3 Aug.

St. James - Parish Office Hours for August will be as follows:

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:30am. – 1:30pm.

Closed on Thursdays – the 12th, 19th & 26th. Regular Office hours resume the week of August 30th. 


Food Bank Sunday is the first Sunday of every month. Please place your non-perishable donations in the basket provided at the back of the church. Thank You!


St. James Parish offers you the convenient opportunity to donate to a number of causes and community efforts. You are likely already aware that you can donate to the Primate's World Relief & Development Fund (PWRDF), the Mahone Bay & Area Food Bank, and now you can also donate to the school-lunch program at Bayview Community School, helping to provide good lunches to kids who need them. Simply make your cheque out to St. James' and make a note on it what it is for, if it is intended for one of these worthwhile effort.


Anyone wishing to have an afternoon out, enjoy a cup of tea etc. please feel free to join the knitters between 1 & 3:30p.m. on Wednesdays. They will make you most welcome.


Anyone who would like to donate bottles for the CBL, are asked to drop them off by the garage doors beside the Parish Hall. For more info, contact Tom Ernst at 902-624-6133.
