Tuesday evenings throughout Lent, Fr. Chad will be hosting Lenten reflections at the Rectory, at 7pm. All are welcome!

Anyone wishing Memorial Flowers for Easter, please contact Margot Lutes (902-530-5878) by 23 March. Cheques are to be made payable to St. James Flower Fund.

Have a Laugh Players present GODSPELL, Friday, 23 March, 7:30 p.m. at St James.  Tickets are $20.00.

Handel’s Messiah Worldwide “Sing” Saturday, 24 March 6:30- 9 p.m., here at St James. Free admission.Food Bank donations appreciated.

We have a few extra copies of our church directory available for purchase, at a cost of $15 each. If you are a communicant member of the parish of Mahone Bay, and would like a copy, please contact the office.

Anyone wishing to have an afternoon out, enjoy a cup of tea etc. please feel free to join the knitters  between 1 & 3 p.m. on Wednesdays.  They will make you most welcome!

St. James  Parish offers  you the convenient opportunity to donate to a number of causes and community efforts. You are likely already aware that you can donate to the Primate's World Relief & Development Fund (PWRDF), the Mahone Bay & Area Food Bank, and now you can also donate to the school-lunch program at Bayview Community School, helping to provide good lunches to kids who need them. Simply make your cheque out to St. James' as you normally would, and make a note on it what it is for, if it is intended for one of these worthwhile effort.

Come join the Mahone Bay Quilters Guild for Cuddle Quilt Day, Saturday 17 March. This is a day the community gets together to make quilts for different charities. No sewing required. Come and spend the day, or as long as you want, make new friends, and see what a great event this is. It will be held at the Trinity church hall, from 9 am till 3 pm. Coffee House & Conversation Café  Friday, 23 March, 7 p.m. at the Mahone Bay Baptist Church Hall, 56 Maple Street.
Join us for celebrating The Potholes of March. Throw in a shovelful of humor, readings, skits, Irish songs, music (whatever else you wish to contribute). Warm biscuits served with maple syrup will be the topping.
