September Office Hours:
Monday - Closed.
Tuesday – Friday 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Bible Study this year will be held at two different
times. Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
or Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m. Both
groups will be studying Mark’s gospel.
This will begin 11 & 12
September. Anyone wishing to learn
about our Christian faith is invited to attend.

We will be holding a Craft Sale during the Scarecrow Festival weekend (end of September) and are looking for
donated items. We have lots of talented people
in our parish-looking forward to seeing your work! Please see Winnie Hoyt, 902-624-9324. Proceeds to go to the steeple fund.

Looking for donations
of cupcakes either decorated or plain, icing sugar, margarine and
baking cups. Items may be dropped off at the hall by Thurs. evening, the 28th after 6 p.m. Also, if you are able to help with the selling please call Brenda

Anyone wishing to have an
afternoon out, enjoy a cup of tea etc. please feel free to join the knitters between 1 & 3 p.m. on Wednesdays. They will make you
St. James Parish offers you the convenient opportunity to donate to a number of causes and community efforts. You are likely already aware that you can donate to the Primate's World Relief & Development Fund (PWRDF), the Mahone Bay & Area Food Bank, and now you can also donate to the school-lunch program at Bayview Community School, helping to provide good lunches to kids who need them. Simply make your cheque out to St. James' as you normally would, and make a note on it what it is for, if it is intended for one of these worthwhile effort.

The Bridgewater Christian Women's Club invites you to their "Come to the Fair" event on Thurs. 5 Oct at 9:30 a.m., at the Lighthouse Community Church, 2573 Aberdeen RD, South Oakhill.
