Summer Office Hours - Begins; 11 June - 3 September

Sunday School Closing & Picnic, Sunday 27 May -  Following the 11 a.m. service, everyone is invited to come to the hall for a barbecue, games, etc. Please join us!

Anyone wishing Memorial Flowers for Father’s Day, please contact Margot Lutes (530-5878) by Sunday 8 June. Cheques to be made payable to St. James Flower Fund.

St. James Annual Yard Sale will be held Saturday 16 June from 8 am. - 2 pm.  There will be a bake table, gently used clothing room, Christmas decorations, dishes, toys, linens and much more. Anyone wishing to have an afternoon out, enjoy a cup of tea etc. please feel free to  join the knitters between 1 & 3 p.m. on Wednesdays.  They will make you most welcome!

St. James  Parish offers  you the convenient opportunity to donate to a number of causes and community efforts. You are likely already aware that you can donate to the Primate's World Relief & Development Fund (PWRDF), the Mahone Bay & Area Food Bank, and now you can also donate to the school-lunch program at Bayview Community School, helping to provide good lunches to kids who need them. Simply make your cheque out to St. James' as you normally would, and make a note on it what it is for, if it is intended for one of these worthwhile effort.

Coffee House & Conversation Café  -  Donna Lugar, N.S. rep with Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation (CanLyme) will be our guest speaker. Bring your questions. This affects us all!!!  Friday, 25 May, 7p.m. at the Mahone Bay Baptist Church Hall, 56 Maple Street.

The Bridgewater Christian Women's Club invites you to their "Container Gardening" event at the Lighthouse Community Church, 2573 Aberdeen Rd, on Thurs, 7 June at 9:30am. Fifth Annual Season of Theatre Camps with Colleen: Two camps will be held this summer at Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay. “Heidi” will run July 16-20 for ages 7-12. “Fairy Tale Mayhem” will run August 20-24 for ages 9-15. At these fun and dynamic camps participants will learn performance skills including voice, movement, improvisation and character development.
